NC<\/strong> \u00e8 un processo speciale per indurire la superficie dell\u2019acciaio inossidabile austenitico e duplex (RVS) senza compromettere la resistenza alla corrosione (resistenza alla ruggine). In alcuni casi, la resistenza alla corrosione viene persino migliorata!<\/p><p><strong>Come funziona?<\/strong><br \/>Il processo si basa sulla nitrocarburazione in gas, ma \u00e8 appositamente adattato per l\u2019acciaio inossidabile.<br \/>Durante il processo Stainihard\u00ae, la superficie dell\u2019acciaio viene arricchita con atomi di azoto e carbonio.<br \/>Questa diffusione avviene a bassa temperatura (inferiore a 450\u00b0C).<br \/>Il risultato: uno strato esterno molto duro (1100\u20131400 HV0,05) senza perdita di resistenza alla corrosione.<br \/>La zona indurita \u00e8 anche chiamata \u201caustenite espansa\u201d o \u201cfase S\u201d. Qui gli atomi extra di azoto e carbonio sono intrappolati, generando elevate tensioni di compressione e quindi una maggiore durezza.<br \/>A differenza dei processi classici (come la nitrurazione in bagno di sale o al plasma), con Stainihard\u00ae non si formano nitruri o carburi di cromo, quindi la resistenza alla corrosione viene mantenuta.<br \/>Stainihard non \u00e8 un rivestimento e per questo \u00e8 sicuro anche per applicazioni nell\u2019industria alimentare e medicale.<\/p><p><strong>Vantaggi di Stainihard\u00ae<\/strong><\/p><ul><li>Durezza superficiale molto elevata<\/li><li>Eccellente resistenza all\u2019usura (protezione contro l\u2019abrasione)<\/li><li>Elevata resistenza al grippaggio, al fretting e alla corrosione da contatto<\/li><li>La resistenza alla corrosione rimane invariata<\/li><li>Elevata resistenza al taglio<\/li><li>Nessun cambiamento visibile della superficie<\/li><li>Coefficiente di attrito ridotto<\/li><li>Maggiore resistenza a fatica<\/li><li>Buona stabilit\u00e0 dimensionale e di forma<\/li><\/ul><p><strong>Durezza e profondit\u00e0<\/strong><br \/>La durezza dello strato Stainihard\u00ae \u00e8 di 1200\u20131500 HV0,01.<br \/>La profondit\u00e0 di indurimento varia da 10 a 30 \u00b5m, a seconda del tipo di acciaio inossidabile, delle condizioni superficiali e del grado di deformazione.<\/p><p><strong>Applicazioni<\/strong><br \/>Stainihard\u00ae NC \u00e8 adatto per l\u2019indurimento superficiale di acciai inossidabili austenitici e duplex. Durante il processo Stainihard\u00ae NC, questi atomi vengono introdotti in eccesso nel reticolo cristallino dell\u2019acciaio inossidabile, generando notevoli tensioni di compressione. Questo comporta un significativo aumento della durezza superficiale, senza compromettere la resistenza alla corrosione del materiale di base.<\/p><p>L\u2019aspetto unico del processo Stainihard\u00ae \u00e8 che la formazione di nitruro di cromo (CrN) e carburo di cromo (CrC) viene soppressa. Di conseguenza, il cromo rimane disciolto nella matrice, il che \u00e8 essenziale per il mantenimento dello strato passivo e quindi della resistenza alla corrosione.
