Korrosionsbest\u00e4ndigkeit (Widerstand gegen Rost) beeintr\u00e4chtigt wird. In manchen F\u00e4llen wird die Korrosionsbest\u00e4ndigkeit sogar verbessert!<\/p><p><strong>Wie funktioniert das?<\/strong><br \/>Das Verfahren basiert auf dem Gasnitrokarburieren, ist jedoch speziell f\u00fcr Edelstahl angepasst.<br \/>W\u00e4hrend des Stainihard\u00ae-Prozesses wird die Oberfl\u00e4che des Stahls mit Stickstoff- und Kohlenstoffatomen angereichert.<br \/>Diese Diffusion findet bei niedriger Temperatur (unter 450\u00b0C) statt.<br \/>Das Ergebnis: eine sehr harte Au\u00dfenschicht (1100\u20131400 HV0,05) ohne Verlust der Korrosionsbest\u00e4ndigkeit.<br \/>Die geh\u00e4rtete Zone wird auch als \u201eerweitertes Austenit\u201c oder \u201eS-Phase\u201c bezeichnet. Hier sind die zus\u00e4tzlichen Stickstoff- und Kohlenstoffatome eingeschlossen, was zu hohen Druckspannungen und damit zu einer h\u00f6heren H\u00e4rte f\u00fchrt.<br \/>Im Gegensatz zu klassischen Verfahren (wie Salzbad- oder Plasmanitrieren) entstehen beim Stainihard\u00ae-Verfahren keine Chromnitrate oder -karbide, sodass die Korrosionsbest\u00e4ndigkeit erhalten bleibt.<br \/>Stainihard ist keine Beschichtung und daher auch f\u00fcr Anwendungen in der Lebensmittel- und Medizinindustrie geeignet.<\/p><p><strong>Vorteile von Stainihard\u00ae<\/strong><\/p><ul><li>Sehr hohe Oberfl\u00e4chenh\u00e4rte<\/li><li>Hervorragende Verschlei\u00dffestigkeit (Schutz gegen Abrieb)<\/li><li>Hohe Best\u00e4ndigkeit gegen Kaltverschwei\u00dfen, Fressen und Kontaktkorrosion<\/li><li>Korrosionsbest\u00e4ndigkeit bleibt erhalten<\/li><li>Hohe Scherfestigkeit<\/li><li>Keine sichtbare Ver\u00e4nderung der Oberfl\u00e4che<\/li><li>Geringerer Reibungskoeffizient<\/li><li>H\u00f6here Erm\u00fcdungsfestigkeit<\/li><li>Gute Ma\u00df- und Formbest\u00e4ndigkeit<\/li><\/ul><p><strong>H\u00e4rte und Tiefe<\/strong><br \/>Die H\u00e4rte der Stainihard\u00ae-Schicht betr\u00e4gt 1200\u20131500 HV0,01.<br \/>Die H\u00e4rtungstiefe variiert von 10 bis 30 \u00b5m, abh\u00e4ngig vom Typ des Edelstahls, dem Oberfl\u00e4chenzustand und dem Grad der Verformung.<\/p><p><strong>Anwendungen<\/strong><br \/>Stainihard\u00ae NC eignet sich zur Oberfl\u00e4chenh\u00e4rtung von austenitischem und Duplex-Edelstahl. W\u00e4hrend des Stainihard\u00ae NC-Prozesses werden diese Atome im \u00dcberschuss in das Kristallgitter des Edelstahls eingebracht, was zu erheblichen Druckspannungen f\u00fchrt. Dies resultiert in einer deutlichen Erh\u00f6hung der Oberfl\u00e4chenh\u00e4rte, ohne dass die Korrosionsbest\u00e4ndigkeit des Grundmaterials beeintr\u00e4chtigt wird.<\/p><p>Das Einzigartige am Stainihard\u00ae-Verfahren ist, dass die Bildung von Chromnitrid (CrN) und Chromkarbid (CrC) unterdr\u00fcckt wird. Dadurch bleibt das Chrom in der Matrix gel\u00f6st, was f\u00fcr den Erhalt der Passivschicht und somit der Korrosionsbest\u00e4ndigkeit entscheidend ist. Dies unterscheidet Stainihard\u00ae von herk\u00f6mmlichen Nitrierverfahren wie Salzbad- oder Plasmanitrieren, bei denen die Bildung von CrN und CrC auftritt und die Korrosionsbest\u00e4ndigkeit stark abnimmt.<\/p><p>Die Tiefe der gebildeten erweiterten Austenitzone h\u00e4ngt von mehreren Parametern ab:<\/p><ul><li>Der chemischen Zusammensetzung des gew\u00e4hlten Edelstahls (z. B.
